Centrepay

Through Centrepay, a Customer can authorise Adams & Jones to deduct regular amounts from their welfare payments to pay their rental payments. Centrepay is a voluntary bill-paying service that is free for Centrelink customers.

To apply, simply complete and sign the Centrepay Deduction Authority here and return via email to your property manager

Please note the following regarding Rental Emergencies

What is a Rental Emergency?

Please take care to read and be familiar with the RTA guidelines below defining what is classified by an out of business hours emergency. If the maintenance request or emergency reported does not comply with the RTA guideline then you, the Tenant, will incur all costs involved.

In case of an Emergency, please contact your Property Manager first. To obtain your Property Manager contacts please visit 

Energex Emergency Contact

Call 13 62 62 to notify us of power outages or to seek advice on restoration timeframes. In an emergency, such as fallen powerlines or electric shocks, call 13 19 62. Outages are updated every 15 minutes.

Please also take the time to familiarise yourself as to what constitutes as an Emergency.

Emergency repairs

The Act states emergency repairs are:

 a burst water service or a serious water service leak

 a blocked or broken lavatory system or fittings

 a serious roof leak

 a gas leak

 a dangerous electrical fault

 flooding or serious flood damage

 serious storm, fire or impact damage

 a failure or breakdown of the gas, electricity or water supply to the premises

 a failure or breakdown of an essential service or appliance on premises for hot water, cooking or heating

 a fault or damage that makes premises unsafe or unsecure

 a fault or damage likely to injure a person, damage property or unduly inconvenience a tenant of premises, or

 a serious fault in any staircase, lift or other common area which inhibits or unduly inconveniences residents in gaining access to or using the premises 

 

If a Trades is called to the property and it is not deemed as an emergency, you as the Tenant will be liable for the Emergency call out cost.
